유전자(Gene)이란 무엇일까?
Wikipedia에 의하면 다음과 같다.
It is normally a stretch of DNA that codes for a type of protein
or for an RNA
chain that has a function in the organism.
한마디로, 조직에서 하나의 기능을 가지는 RNA 혹은 단백질의 형태로 코딩되는 DNA의 부분을 말한다.
